The College of Computing & Informatics offers an on-campus PhD in Information Science program, designed to foster the development of creative and interdisciplinary researchers with a strong foundation in information science, data science, and human-centered computing. While working on a PhD in Information Science, students collaborate closely with a faculty advisor to define a research topic, master research skills and literature, and become one of the world’s experts in their area of study.
