Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Entrepreneurship

Gannon's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (BSBA) is accredited by ACBSP with the following concentrations - Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Healthcare Management, International Management, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Risk Management and Insurance, Sport Management and Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. In AY24-25, the BSBA degree along with all concentrations, will be phased out in lieu of a BS degree with majors.

Entrepreneurship students have the opportunity to become a member of the Gannon Entrepreneurship Club, compete in local competitions to pitch their business ideas, or serve as an entrepreneurship mentor to local high school students. The entrepreneur creates new ideas, products, business ventures, industries and markets by accepting risk and using initiative. The core idea that drives the entrepreneur is creating value for the customer by recognizing opportunities and identifying the resources needed to capture opportunities in the market. Entrepreneurship students will take a unique sequence of courses designed to stimulate creativity and develop the thought processes and skills required to turn a possibility into a reality. Students will experience an innovative education in the Center for Business Ingenuity, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and global software. Students will receive hands-on opportunities through internships and service-learning projects with local and national businesses, as well as through the unique collaboration between Gannon University’s Dahlkemper School of Business, Small Business Development Center and Erie Technology Incubator.
