B.A. in Psychology

Psychological science plays a critical role in nearly every aspect of life. The Psychology Department ensures that students receive a comprehensive introduction to the diverse subfields of psychology while offering flexibility in course selection. Students can earn a bachelor of science or a bachelor of arts in psychology, and these degrees will open the door to numerous career paths. The Department of Psychology also offers an online Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology to provide increased access to high-quality education for students who have already earned college credits but are unable to complete their degree through traditional in-person classes. This program is specifically designed for working adults, rural residents, and individuals with existing college credits who face constraints that prevent them from finishing their degree on campus.

High school GPA requirement: Equivalent to a minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. For more information on equivalency calculations. Core course requirements: Along with the GPA requirement, students must complete a minimum set of high school core courses, including four years of English (or their native language), three years of science with at least two years of laboratory science in biology, chemistry, and/or physics, three years of mathematics including algebra and geometry, and two years of social studies.
