English for Academic Purposes (EAP 136)

The U of A’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program helps you develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. You’ll be taught at the English Language School by U of A instructors and benefit from an active, student-centred approach. After completing the program, you’ll be eligible for admission to the Year One Foundation Program — the first year of your chosen four-year bachelor’s degree. Depending on your English-language level, you’ll be enrolled in the EAP program for four to six months.
