Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology/Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology and Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis/Diploma of Automotive Technology

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in vehicles in the automotive electrical service and repair industry. Individuals may enter into this qualification with limited or no vocational experience and without a lower level qualification. However individuals may have completed one or more of the following and wish to increase their knowledge further:AUR20720 Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology orAUR20420 Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology orother similar qualificationsFurther training pathways from this qualification include AUR40620 Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology or other relevant qualifications. Learners are required to have completed AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology in this Training Package or other relevant qualifications. Further training pathways from this qualification include AUR50116 Diploma of Automotive Management or other relevant qualifications. Those undertaking the AUR50216 Diploma of Automotive Technology are required to have completed AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or AUR40816 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Overhauling or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency.
