Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics)

MSU's master's program in Business Administration aims to qualify individuals for professional positions of challenge in today's rapidly changing world of business. Earning an MBA is valuable, especially for individuals who want the opportunity to increase their salary, advance their career, and meet professionals and colleagues with whom they can develop a rapport. Furthermore, the MBA is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for achieving their goals and objectives and to prepare graduates for careers in the global business market.

The MBA with a major in business analytics is a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) designated program. The STEM designation allows international students to have access to a 3-year OPT. The program provides students the depth of analytics expertise and broad business applications to tell the stories, identify opportunities and threats, and solve business problems by using data. The classes are led by professors from multi disciplines who are passionate about analytics. Students learn from an intensive curriculum across a range of business courses and explore the latest technology and methods of transforming and translating data into meaningful information to make decisions. Specific tools include Tableau, Python, R, SAS, SQL, and Excel.

A bachelor's degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university. A completed application form Official transcripts of all previous college course work (including verification of an earned bachelor's degree) An official score on either the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) International students (from countries where English is not the native language) must provide the documents listed above as well as an official score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), IELTS, ITEP, or PTE to the Office of International Services.
