The Introductory Academic Program (IAP) is a five-week intensive program designed exclusively for international students who already hold a full offer to Monash University. IAP helps you transition into university life by building academic confidence, introducing Australian university culture, and developing essential learning skills. By completing IAP, you will enter university life feeling already prepared, connected, capable – before semester begins. Starting university in a new country is exciting, however, it can also be overwhelming. In the very first few weeks of study, you will be exposed to different expectations, new academic systems, and independent learning. IAP provides reassurance, helps you feel more confident and prepared, and excited to begin your study at Monash rather than spending the first semester figuring things out.
