North Seattle College

Established in 1970, North Seattle College provides learning opportunities to a diverse population of more than 12,000 students each year. The college serves as a starting point for many students who transfer to top universities across the country. Strong academic preparation and advising services, small class sizes, an innovative integrated studies program, extensive e-learning options, and a wide range of partnerships with four-year institutions contribute to student success. The college offers six bachelor’s degree programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, as well as Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Accounting with an International focus, Application Development, Early Childhood Education, International Business, and Residential & Commercial Property Management. In addition, North provides all-evening Associate of Arts and Associate in Business degree programs. While many graduates continue their studies at institutions such as Dartmouth and UC Berkeley, a significant number transfer to the University of Washington. North consistently ranks among the top community colleges in terms of the number of students accepted to the University of Washington’s main campus. Its graduates achieve strong outcomes, earning competitive salaries and making meaningful contributions to their communities. North Seattle College also offers excellent career training through certificate programs, including those in emerging fields such as sustainable and conventional energy and control technology. Additionally, the college supports students in earning their GED™, learning English, improving basic skills, and pursuing new skills or personal interests.
