Business Management and Economics - BA (Hons)

Economics helps explain why businesses grow, markets move, and people make the choices they do. On this course, you’ll look beyond headlines and assumptions to explore how economics shapes real organisations, real decisions, and real lives. You’ll build a broad understanding of business management while developing the specialist economic skills to analyse change, interpret complex data, and communicate insight clearly. Alongside opportunities for consultancy projects, internships, placements, and studying abroad, you’ll see how economics connects with accounting, finance, HR, marketing, and strategy. Whether you want to work in finance, consultancy, business analysis, or a broader management role, this course gives you the commercial awareness, analytical confidence, and practical experience to keep your options open.
