Undergraduate Transfer Program

If you have already completed college or university-level courses and want to transfer to OSU, our Undergraduate Transfer Program (UTP) is for you. You'll receive an estimate of transferable credits toward your degree before you start your program.

Our UTP provides a customized path to earning your bachelor's degree at OSU. You won't repeat course work and will receive additional academic, language and cultural support to help you excel at a US university.

16 years and above

1-Semester Pathway and 2-Semester Pathway

Academic requirements:

1 Term: Transferring from a recognized college or university with minimum 15 quarter or 12 semester credits, 2.25 minimum college/university GPA 2 Terms: Transferring from a recognized college or university with minimum 15 quarter or 12 semester credits, 2.25 minimum college/university GPA

2 Term: Transferring from a recognized college or university with minimum 15 quarter or 12 semester credits, 2.25 minimum college/university GPA. 2 Terms: Transferring from a recognized college or university with minimum 15 quarter or 12 semester credits, 2.25 minimum college/university GPA

English language requirements:

1 Term: TOEFL 75 (16 in all subscores), IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all subscores), Duolingo 110 or Completion of Academic English Level 6.

2 Terms: TOEFL 70, IELTS 6.0, Password 7, Duolingo 100, or Completion of Academic English Level 5.

3-Term Pathway

Academic requirements:

Transferring from a recognized college or university with minimum 15 quarter or 12 semester credits, 2.25 minimum college/university GPA

English language requirements:

TOEFL 60, IELTS 5.5, Duolingo 90, or Completion of Academic English Level 4.

4-Term Pathway

Academic requirements:

Transferring from a recognized college or university with minimum 15 quarter or 12 semester credits, 2.25 minimum college/university GPA

English language requirements:

TOEFL 50, IELTS 5.0, Duolingo 75, or Completion of Academic English Level 3.
