International Year One in Law (University of Bradford International College)

The International Year One (IY1) is the first stage of a three-year integrated degree and is studied over three terms before progressing to the university. It is ideal for international students who do not meet the University’s direct entry requirements. International Year One provides an intensive combination of first-year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills. Upon successful completion, you will continue to the second year of your chosen degree.

In this course, you will be provided with a highly supportive and academically challenging environment in which to develop language, university study, and subject-specific modules related to your Law degree.

The International Year 1 (IY1), delivered at the University of Bradford International College (UBIC), provides an intensive combination of first-year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills.

The IY1 is the equivalent of your first year of study at undergraduate level. Upon successful completion, you will continue to the second year of your chosen degree at the University of Bradford.
