Our graduates are in high demand, with most receiving a job offer before completing the course.Careers and outcomesWith a Bachelor of Architectural Design and a Bachelor of Built Environment (Honours) (Landscape Architecture) double degree from QUT, you’ll set yourself up for a wide range of careers. You may choose to work independently; in small partnerships; in government agencies; or as a member of large multidisciplinary teams with other professionals such as architects, horticulturalists, engineers, urban designers and town planners.You may work on projects involving private or public spaces, such as multi-residential developments, public parks, playgrounds, university and government campuses, shopping centres, golf courses, waterways, public gardens and industrial parks. Careers include landscape designer, landscape technician, landscape construction technician, or becoming an accredited landscape architect. With international design experience, many graduates enjoy working in overseas practices to create a healthier and more resilient future. Students and graduates can become members of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
