Associate of Arts in Mathematics/Applied Math/Statistics Pre Major (Direct Transfer Agreement)

Prepare for a major in MathematicsApplied MathStatistics by taking recommended courses to fulfill the requirements of a transfer degree. Mathematics is the study of structure, form and the relationship among numerical, geometric and logical constructs. Applied mathematics focuses on the application of math to other fields, such as physics and engineering. Statistics is a branch of mathematics dealing with data collection, organization, analysis, interpretation and presentation.
The Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) is part of Shoreline’s General Transfer program and is designed to meet the first two years of requirements of most four-year degrees.
