For a virtual shadow completed through Suffolk University, the Suffolk University staff member conducting the shadow will provide feedback; for additional information please refer to the page section on Shadow Experiences Math assessment (by invitation) Completed without a calculator and covers basic arithmetic functions, fractions, decimals, percentages, basic college algebra, exponential functions including power laws, natural logs, basic geometry, similar triangles, areas, perimeter and trigonometry Interview (by invitation) An initial screening interview with the program director and clinical coordinator is scheduled as applications are completed. Select applicants are invited to a full committee interview in February. Official TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE-Academic Scores A background in radiation therapy is not required. Most of our accepted students have undergraduate degrees in physics, biology, chemistry, pre-med, and health sciences. We have also accepted career changers with backgrounds such as marketing and environmental science. All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: Bachelor\u2019s degree 3.0 cumulative GPA Students who do not possess a background in radiation therapy can typically complete their master's degree with 55 credits of graduate study. Students enrolling in graduate programs must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or an equivalent degree granted by an institution in another country (as determined by the Office of Graduate Admission). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Suffolk welcomes both the TOEFL iBT and TOEFL Essentials. To be considered for full admission, a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80, with no subscore lower than 17, or a minimal TOEFL Essentials overall band score of 8.5, with no subsection below 8, is required. Suffolk University's code for TOEFL test scores is 3771. International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A minimum score of 6.5 (with no subscore below 6.0) is required to be considered for full admission.
