Bachelor of Arts/ Master of Science in City and Regional Planning

The graduate City and Regional Planning program prepares students to be professional planners with skills and knowledge to address the complex challenge of improving neighborhoods, cities, and regions. Students graduate with strengths in sustainability, environmental planning, community engagement, and advanced methods as well as a broad-based understanding and awareness of the physical and economic aspects of planning, sensitivity to the social and environmental impact of planning decisions, and a knowledge of governmental structures as they apply to planning. Students graduating from accredited planning programs are eligible for status as an AICP Canditate, pre-certified planner, from the American Institute of Certified Planners. The 4 plus 1 Accelerated BABS MS City and Regional Planning program enables students to graduate with a BA or BS from any major at Temple University and an MS in City andRegional Planning degree in five years rather than the typical six years. 4 plus1 students are able to complete 12 credits of graduate level coursework while paying undergraduate tuition.

Your application must include all official and original academic records from any secondary school you have ever attended.If you are attending a secondary school curriculum that is four years, Temple University reviews grades nine through 11 as well as your current progress in 12th grade (term/quarter/semester/predicted) or your final transcript if you completed secondary school. If you are attending a secondary school curriculum that is only three years, we strongly recommend you submit the final year of your primary school as well. If you are admitted to Temple and you have submitted your enrollment deposit, you must have your secondary school send your final transcript or proof of graduation to Temple.Need help determining what satisfies proof of graduation Please contact the International Admissions office.
