Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting

The Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting is offered through the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art which seeks to educate, engage, and energize its student body in a dynamic program that integrates classroom learning with real world performance, research, and teaching. The applicant must demonstrate prior experience in conducting orchestral ensembles. In addition to meeting the general requirements for admission to the music school, the entering graduate student in the Master of Music degree program in Orchestral Conducting must take the Music Theory Placement Examination and the Music History Placement Examination.
