Doctor of Medicine

Graduate Entry: GPA of 5 in a key degree, GAMSAT/MCAT (international applicants) and interview. GAMSAT must be completed within 2 years prior to the year of commencement and MCAT 3 years. Applicants must achieve a minimum score in the GAMSAT (50 per section) or MCAT (504). GAMSAT/MCAT and GPA are used to rank for invite to interview. Entry is competitive based on GPA, GAMSAT/MCAT and interview score. The key degree must be completed within 10 years prior to commencing. Note for 2022 entry onwards, subject prerequisites are required.
Provisional Entry (must be completing Year 12 in year of application): Adjusted ATAR 95 (or equivalent) or higher, Year 12 English (or equivalent), and UCAT ANZ/ISAT (international applicants). UCAT ANZ/ISAT are used to rank for invite to interview. Entry is competitive based on ATAR, UCAT ANZ/ISAT and interview score. To progress to the MD, students must complete their first degree at UQ within the minimum time specified for the program, GPA of 5 and complete two subject prerequisites.

TOEFL IBT - Overall 100, listening 25, reading 25, writing 27, speaking 23.

TOEFL PB - Overall 600, listening 59, reading 59, writing 64/6.

Pearsons - Overall 72, sub bands minimum 72.

CES - Overall 185, All sub bands minimum 185.

BE and OET are not accepted.
