Master of Public Health

The LPHT Pathway is designed for current or future public health practitioners. Full-time students can earn a degree in 18 months. Part-time students can finish in two to five years. Jefferson's Master of Public Health (MPH) program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). LPHT students are trained to be Leaders in Public Health Transformation and they graduate ready to make a difference.
Students on the LPHT Pathway take the lead in transforming the future to promote health across siloes. They are provided with the advanced training to connect the biomedical, social, cultural, environmental, economic, and contextual issues that impact health. The MPH LPHT pathway prepares students to address pressing and emerging threats to health and well-being. JCPH supports students on the LPHT Pathway by providing a flexible course schedule and a host of supplemental activities and experiential learning opportunities. Classes are offered throughout the day, in the evening, and online to accommodate working adults. Supplemental activities include a lecture series, journal clubs and registration to a nationally recognized conference on population health. Students on the LPHT Pathway also complete a field experience where they gain real world public health training. Additionally students on the LPHT Pathway work closely with faculty to design and complete an independent Capstone Project that focuses on a topic of their choice.

Degree Prerequisite: Applicants are required to hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent upon evaluation of international transcripts prior to the start of the program.

GPA Requirement: A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is preferred.
