Make-up & Hair Design - BA (Hons)

Become a visual artist who thinks, concepts, and creates for print, screen, and show. There’s so much more to make-up and hair than the transformation. The best artists understand how identity, culture, and storytelling influence style, trends, and outcomes. On this course, you’ll learn it all – honing technical precision, finding your signature style, and developing the kind of conceptual thinking that will set you and your work apart. These are skills that come through extensive studio time, where every single session of this course is taught. Masterclasses, seminars, workshops, briefings – they all happen where you create your work, so you can always link theory and practice. Master the art and the application in fully-equipped beauty studios that reflect real industry environments. Fashion editorial, film, TV, theatre, beauty brands, private clients – you'll develop skills across all of them. You'll learn how designing for print differs from screen, how your artistry adapts to each context, and how to build a creative career with the range to take you anywhere.
