PGCE for International Trainees (Hong Kong)

The Postgraduate Certificate in Education for International Trainees (Hong Kong) offers teachers based in primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, who have not undergone a period of formal training, the opportunity to participate in a structured programme of professional development.
The PGCE is a 37-week school-based course, during which time you will work under the guidance of your in-school mentor. Each week you will be observed by your mentor, reflect on your practice and have a one-to-one meeting with your mentor to review progress and set targets.
Course HighlightsThe qualification is PGCE – not International PGCE.You will attain 60 Masters credits if you pass at Level 7 enabling you to go on to Masters courses.Lectures are online but live.You will be observed by a university tutor twice during the course.
