Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering

This endorsed research degree is completed by a thesis and coursework. It aims to provide a research-focused learning environment in which you can develop your independent problem solving skills through supervised research. The degree may be awarded with Distinction. The Master of Engineering in Fire Engineering (research master's) and Master of Fire Engineering Studies (taught master's) are open to graduates from relevant branches of engineering, and covers all aspects of fire safety in buildings and other structures, human safety, and risk assessment. Some courses are offered in blocks and online learning software allows for flexible programmes of study. Students also complete a thesis or project.
