Understand how businesses can use information systems, databases, and business intelligence tools as a strategic advantage 2. Code a solution to a business problem using a modern programming language 3. Design and implement a data communications system based on business requirements 4. Model and create databases based on business requirements and query databases using query languages 5. Design and implement a web-based solution to a business problem 6. Analyze proposed andor existing systems and model various aspects of the system 7. Apply the stages of system development to build functional, structural, and behavioral models of a proposed andor existing system. 8. Solve real-world business problems and build leadership and team management skills 9. Implement project management methodologies and best practices 10. Communicate with business partners to solve real business challenges 11. Gain subject matter expertise in accounting to create information systems for accounting related problems.
