Energy conversion is a discipline that spans across three departments: Computer & Electrical, Mechanical & Industrial and Chemical (Nuclear) Engineering. Interest is rising for practical applications in the housing industry to supply houses with clean sources of energy to meet electrical supply needs, as well as for space heating cooling.
