In this advanced degree program in music theory, you'll study a range of musical styles and genres and a variety of sounds with top faculty to prepare for you for a career in a creative or academic setting. You'll write and research musical works, including music-theoretical and analytical concepts. You will also initiate substantial scholarly work in analysis, theory and pedagogy in music theory or a related field.
