Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems

Information Systems focuses on the use of computers and information technology to address business needs. The focus is how technology works within a business organization and what type of technology should be used to solve a business problem. Students gain skills to help an organization address their strategic information needs from both technical and business perspectives. The AACSB-accredited 120-credit-hour degree programs include 18 to 21 hours of information systems courses built around the core business curriculum. The course work is designed to provide the right mix of technology and business skills. As businesses rely more and more on computers and information technologies to run their operations, the demand for information systems professionals continues to rise and companies worldwide are aggressively recruiting graduates.
