Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.)

Electrical Engineering is one of the largest departments in The University of Toledo’s College of Engineering. Electrical engineers design, develop and operate devices, systems and practices that require in-depth knowledge of electricity. They have contributed to almost all modern inventions - from microchips and computers to medical devices and space-age satellite communications. You are considered a freshman if you are coming to UToledo directly from high school and have never attended university. If you took college courses while enrolled in high school, you are still considered a freshman.

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Minimum test scores: 22 ACT or 550 SAT math subscore or a 76 ALEKS score (Students who do not have an ACT or SAT score can take UToledo's math placement test (ALEKS) for a fee of USD Dollar 20)

Required High School Coursework: 4 years of high school chemistry and math (fourth-year emphasis on trigonometry or pre-calculus). High school physics is strongly recommended
