Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Business

The chemistry major with a business concentration at UW-La Crosse provides a multi-disciplinary career path for students interested in both science and the business side of industry. Students learn core chemical theory and laboratory skills during general, organic, analytical, and physical chemistry courses. These science fundamentals are supplemented with management, accounting, finance, and marketing courses in the College of Business Administration. Chemistry with a business concentration majors will be uniquely qualified to work with science and R&D teams, as well as sales, marketing or business-planning.
Chemistry is the study of substances, their properties, energies, the ways they interact and combine and change. Traditionally, chemistry has been broken into five main sub-disciplines: Organic, Analytical, Physical, Inorganic, and Biochemistry. The field also includes a variety of applied disciplines. Chemistry is often referred to as the central science because it joins together physics and mathematics, biology and medicine, and the earth and environmental sciences.

Applicant must have completion of secondary or post-secondary from institution.

English Language Proficiency

Applicant must have TOEFL score of 73 with IELTS score of 6.0 and PTE score of 54. In addition completion of ELS level 112 and completion of WESLI level 700 is required.

Priority application deadlines are 15 December for the January/Spring semester and 15 July for the September/Fall semester.
