The Multilingual Studies program provides a comprehensive overview of the literatures, cultures, and languages of the Hispanic and FrenchFrancophone worlds. The program exposes students to research methods, critical analysis, and advanced pedagogical tools. The principal goal of the program is to prepare students for career tracks that require advanced linguistic and cultural knowledge.The fully accredited Master of Arts in Foreign Languages, Cultures & Literatures at Virginia Tech is designed to meet the needs of students seeking academic and other professional careers in contexts that require intercultural competency as well as a specialized knowledge of Spanish andor French. First-year applicants who have attended high school or have been home-educated outside of the U.S. at any point will need to submit their transcript(s) for review
