B.S. in Computer Engineering

Learn how to develop computer hardware and software, digital systems, microprocessors, and integrated circuits, as well as the design of components and controls in airplanes, security systems, cars, appliances, and more.Participate in undergraduate research programs on integrated circuit design, digital systems design, networking, and medical computer imaging Industry and university partnerships provide networking and internship opportunities Access to a variety of laboratories on campus for hands-on learning and interdisciplinary collaboration Graduates will be ready to obtain a Professional Engineering license Join a math, science, and engineering residence hall, where you can study with your neighbors, get free tutoring, and use the hall’s computer labComputer engineers develop computer hardware and software, digital systems of all descriptions, microprocessormulticore systems, and integrated circuits. They also design components and controls for embedded systems such as those found in modern aircraft, security systems, vending machines, cars, appliances, and a growing number of devices common in contemporary living.
