To be considered for graduate admission, an applicant must hold or be completing an earned baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a college or university of recognized standing and have adequate preparation with discernible ability to pursue graduate studies in the major field elected.
In order to be eligible for admission, all M.A.T. applicants must submit the following: Scores from a nationally normed test (i.e., ACT, SAT), verification of participation in group work with children, a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test completed within the last three years, and a Criminal History Background check completed through Castle Branch. Additional testing is required for Foreign Language majors and minors and Bilingual-Bicultural Education minors prior to admission.
