Canada being an English-speaking country requires students to take English language proficiency tests. While there are many language proficiency test options available to students, IELTS (International English Language Testing System) remains the most preferred choice. It is recognised across 11000+ institutions and accepted in 140 countries.
Your Canadian student visa also depends on your IELTS score. So, it is important to take this test seriously and start preparing for it in advance. At IDP, we have a range of free IELTS test preparation material to help you score better on your test. Further, at your own level, you can follow these tips for IELTS preparation:

Typically, the results for your paper-based IELTS exam are issued 13 days while computer-based takes only 3-5 days. You can directly send your Test Report Form (TRF) to the institution you want to apply for higher education. The TRF is issued once for each candidate and is valid for two years.
