Canada is a renowned country in terms of healthcare and quality education. The high regard placed into its healthcare education system, facilities and services has been a huge factor as to why students from all over the world seek Canada as a country of choice for health-related studies. Vocational, foundation, and diploma programs are short courses offered in many universities in Canada. They provide students with foundational academic skill and knowledge helpful in taking full degree courses right after. Health and science short courses are designed to prepare students for medical education which can also be referred to as a ‘pre-clinical year’. Upon finishing these courses, students may choose to continue for a further year to gain a full honors degree.
