You don’t need to visit the office to get our full support! We have launched our online counselling service to help you get access to all our student placement services while staying safe at home.
IDP Virtual Counselling service enables you to interact with our friendly and professional counsellors through a free Zoom video call. You can ask our counsellors all the questions you have about studying abroad and they will help you find the best course opportunities, guide you with application, visa process and all the other steps in your education journey.

How does it work?
The Virtual Counselling service is available from Sunday to Thursday (11:30 am to 2:30 pm)
- Before joining the session on a computer, tablet or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click the join link.
- Basic requirements for your devices and browsers are available here
- Connect via the zoom link and you will be taken directly to our Virtual Office on Zoom.
- Our friendly host will get your basic information, understand your needs and assign you to the correct counsellor.
- Speak to your counsellor and get all your questions answered

1- What do I do if I face any issues with logging into counselling session?
Call us on 19210 or contact your counsellor for any assistance required with setting up your session.
2- Can my parents join the session?
Yes, parents are welcome to join the virtual session.
3- Will I still receive the same level of information in a virtual session as a face to face session?
Yes. We are committed to ensuring that you have access to the right information, support and care. Your virtual counselling session is a face to face discussion with the counsellor. The only difference is that it is done online, not at our office premises. So, you’ll get all the information you need during the virtual session.
4- Can I complete my application via virtual counselling?
Yes. Your application can be completed during the virtual counselling session.
5- Can the counsellor still assist me in paying an application fee/tuition fee deposit to the university?
Yes. Your counsellor will support you in every step in your application process.
6- Can the counsellor advise me on visa application process and assist me in submitting it online?
Yes. Your visa application can be completed via virtual counselling session.
7- Can I get advice on study options for different destinations in the same virtual counselling session? or do I book for separate sessions for other destinations?
Yes, it is possible to receive advise on study options for different destinations and you may also book a separate one-to-one session with destination focused counselors.
8- Can I book an online counselling session at a specific time?
Yes. If you would like to pre-book an online counselling session, just fill in this form and our counsellors will contact you at the time that best suits your schedule.
