Eligible new international students can receive a tuition reduction of CAD $150 per credit when enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester (typically 4 courses).
Award Value
CAD $1,800 per semester for 12.00 credits
CAD $150 per credit for any additional registered credits
Up to CAD $18,000 total for a four-year degree program
Eligible Programs
Select diplomas, associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, post-baccalaureate diplomas in fields including Business, Arts & Sciences, Interdisciplinary Studies, Communications and Tourism.
Students must:
- Be admitted for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
- Be paying international student tuition fees
- Be a CapU credential seeking student (non-short-term visiting student)
- Have an admission GPA of 2.50 or higher in required courses as determined by CapU's admission assessment
Note: students with an admission GPA below 2.50 may still be eligible for the performance part of this award if they meet the continuing eligibility requirements outlined below.
Register in 12.00 or more credits
Eligible students will automatically receive the award once course registration is confirmed.
