• MA Climate, Risk and Society
• MSc Climate, Risk and Society

Applicants must

• Be a citizen of or be granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
• Be permanently or continually resident in an eligible Commonwealth country
• Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard, or lower second class level plus a relevant postgraduate qualification usually a Masters degree
• Have met all English Language conditions, as stated in your academic offer letter from Durham University,
• The CSC cannot assess work experience in lieu of this minimum academic qualification
• Not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a developed country
• Be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship

Applicants are required to sign an undertaking at the time of application that they:

• Have not studied for one (academic) year or more in a high income (developed) country
• Have not worked for one year or more in a high income (developed) country
• Are themselves, or through their families, unable to pay to study in the UK
• Will return to their home country within one month of the end date of their award
