NTU Estranged Student Bursary

The University will award an NTU Estranged Student Bursary of £1,000 to help towards the living costs of eligible students who start their studies with us in 2025.

The NTU Estranged Student Bursary is available for each year of full-time study, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.

You may be eligible for this bursary if:

• you're under 25, and
• your UK national Student Finance service has assessed you as independent on the grounds of estrangement from your parents, and
• you joined NTU after the start of the 2020/21 academic year, and
• you're on a full-time course leading to an Undergraduate Degree, Foundation Degree, Certificate of Higher Education, Higher National Diploma or Higher National Certificate.
