To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet all the following criteria:

Be an international student, meaning you are not a New Zealand citizen or resident. Check if you should choose Domestic or International.
Be between the ages of 18–23 as of the start of Semester 1, 2026 (i.e., you must turn 18 by February 2026).
Be enrolled full-time in a 2 year diploma or bachelor's degree or postgraduate programme at Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin campus.
Commit to staying at Te Pā Tauira Student Village for the full academic year (February 2026 – November 2026).
Submit an accommodation application for Te Pā Tauira through the standard application process.

Please note:

Exchange students and study abroad students are not eligible for this scholarship.
