To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Be an international student, meaning you are not a New Zealand citizen or resident. Check if you should choose Domestic or International.
- Be between the ages of 18–23 as of the start of Semester 1, 2026 (i.e., you must turn 18 by February 2026).
- Be enrolled full-time in a 2 year diploma or bachelor's degree or postgraduate programme at Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin campus.
- Commit to staying at Te Pā Tauira Student Village for the full academic year (February 2026 – November 2026).
- Submit an accommodation application for Te Pā Tauira through the standard application process.
Please note:
Exchange students and study abroad students are not eligible for this scholarship.
