To be eligible students must:
be from Scotland, England, Wales or Northern Ireland
meet the eligibility criteria for payment of tuition fees
be registered and attending an eligible course
have taken out their full entitlement to a student loan
have exhausted all other possible sources of funding available to them
be paying registered childcare costs
be able to prove they are in financial difficulty
Students entitled to a student loan must have taken out their full entitlement.
Some students are not eligible to apply to this fund:
Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Practice students
EU students
International students
