Graduate Scholarship for Emerging Leaders – Africa

International students who meet the qualifications for admittance into a Master's degree program will be awarded up to USD $20,000 in Graduate Scholarship funding.

Scholarship funds of USD $5,000 will be awarded over four consecutive semesters to students who maintain good academic standing in their programs. The award is available for up to five semesters (up to USD $25,000 total) to students pursuing a Master of Public Health degree.

Students must apply by one of the priority deadlines for either the Fall start term, or Spring and pursue studies full-time on campus. These scholarships were created to help international students advance their knowledge and careers, and contribute to promoting science, technology, leadership and management at UMass Lowell.

Academic Criteria: To receive the scholarship, you must meet the academic standards required for acceptance into your program of interest. No separate application is required.

Location: You must pursue your degree full-time by taking classes on campus at UMass Lowell or at minimum, two on-campus and one online course each semester.
