International students who meet the qualifications for admittance into a Master's degree program will be awarded up to USD $20,000 in Graduate Scholarship funding.
Scholarship funds of USD $5,000 will be awarded over four consecutive semesters to students who maintain good academic standing in their programs. The award is available for up to five semesters (up to USD $25,000 total) to students pursuing a Master of Public Health degree.
Students must apply by one of the priority deadlines for either the Fall start term, or Spring and pursue studies full-time on campus. These scholarships were created to help international students advance their knowledge and careers, and contribute to promoting science, technology, leadership and management at UMass Lowell.
Academic Criteria: To receive the scholarship, you must meet the academic standards required for acceptance into your program of interest. No separate application is required.
Location: You must pursue your degree full-time by taking classes on campus at UMass Lowell or at minimum, two on-campus and one online course each semester.
Fall Semester: Applicants who plan to start their programs in the fall semester are strongly encouraged to apply by March 15 of that year. Applicants who complete their applications prior to March 15 and receive admission in their master's programs will be considered for this scholarship. Applicants applying after priority deadline will also be considered if there are scholarships still available to be awarded.
Spring Semester: Applicants considering the spring semester shall submit their application by November 15 of the prior calendar year to be considered for the scholarship. Applicants applying after priority deadline will also be considered if there are scholarships still available to be awarded.
