This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful.
There are 3 stages to the shortlisting process.
- We check that you meet the eligibility criteria.
- We score your academic record and qualifications as stated on your UCAS or PGT application form.
- The panel will decide who gets the scholarships. The panel will consider your supporting statement, alongside your academic achievements to date.
- We may also shortlist applicants from Least Developed Countries, Low Income or Lower Middle-Income countries.
The decision of the scholarship panel is final. We do not offer feedback on our process.
To get this scholarship you must:
apply for an eligible University of Southampton course before you apply for the scholarship
receive a course offer before the closing date
not be in receipt of any external scholarship, more than or equal to your tuition fees
be an international student paying the Overseas fee
