Faculty of Science International Scholarship for MRes Physics

Eligibility

The scholarships are available for eligible self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time MRes Physics at the University of Strathclyde's campus in Glasgow, in the academic year 2025/26.

Students who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible for these scholarships.

Terms and conditions

The value of the Faculty of Science International Scholarship for MRes Physics is £7,000 and will be deducted from your tuition fees.

To receive their scholarship, awardees must enrol on the MRes Physics in academic year 2025/26 and continue to meet all of the above eligibility criteria.

The scholarship cannot be deferred or transferred to any other entry points.

No separate scholarship application is necessary. All students who meet the eligibility criteria will receive the scholarship.

Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.

Students who do not meet all of the eligibility criteria will not be considered for this scholarship.

The Faculty of Science's decision on the awarding of scholarships is final. Appeals will not be considered.
