Master of Business Administration - Information Systems

The College of Business and Economics holds dual accreditation in Business Administration and Accounting from AACSB International, the premier accrediting body for university-level business programs in the world. The Business Administration major prepares students for beginning professional-level positions in business and administration in the private and public sectors. Career opportunities range from accounting, cost analysis, marketing research and statistical forecasting to real estate, personnel, sales and information systems. The curriculum also provides a foundation for advanced study.

You are eligible to apply as a graduate student if you have earned a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. You must have completed a four-year college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association or an equivalent academic preparation before enrollment in the program. Be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended. Official Transcripts are required from the university where the bachelor\u2019s degree is earned. Submit a word-for-word certified English translation along with the Official original-language transcripts. Have earned a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.5 from the last degree completed by the candidate or have attained a grade-point average of at least 2.5 (A=4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted. Above average class standing at an internationally accredited college or university: the equivalent of at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale is recommended. A satisfactory score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Students should score in the top 50 percent on the verbal, quantitative and analytical writing areas. GRE/GMAT might be waived based on the waiver policy. A recommendation from the MBA Admissions Committee based upon a review of the above requirements, the student\u2019s \u201cStatement of Purpose\u201d and prior work experience.
