Master of Arts in Mass Communication

Bachelor\u2019s degree with a major or minor in Journalism, Cinema or Television Arts, or Communication. Professional experience in news media, public relations and similar fields can be accepted in lieu of a degree. Candidates with other majors who desire admission should consult with the graduate coordinator before applying.

GPA of 3.0 (\u201cB\u201d). Candidates with outstanding professional records may seek, with substantial justification, an exception to this condition.

Candidates with a GPA below 3.0 (\u201cB\u201d) for all undergraduate work may be admitted under special circumstances. Please consult with the department\u2019s graduate coordinator.

PTE Academic - Pearson\u2019s Test of English: 58

TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language: Internet Based score: 79; Paper-based score: 550

iTEP Academic - International Test of English Proficiency: 4.0

DET \u2013 Duolingo English Test: 105
