Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts- Arts and Humanities

This program is designed for students who wish to have a broad knowledge of the arts and humanities, and is recommended for transfer students seeking an Associate Degree prior to transferring to a college or university with a major in a related field. The courses emphasize the study of cultural, literary, humanistic activities and artistic expression of human beings. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to analyze works of philosophical, historical, literary, aesthetic, and cultural importance. Describe the art, literature, ideas, movements, and individuals that have helped to define values, civilizations, and the human condition. Examine other cultures through the study of a foreign language.

Secondary or high school school students - submit proof of completion of secondary education by submitting your transcripts, a graduation certificate, or diploma. If you have not yet graduated from your secondary school, you may apply with in-progress transcripts and must submit final documents showing completion prior to enrollment at GCC. College or university students - submit transcripts of all colleges/universities you have attended. Secondary or high school records are not required if you have completed at least one term of college or university. TOEFL iBT - 45 IELTS - 4.5
