Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, and Society- Innovation and Organization

The Program in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) aims to provide students with an interdisciplinary framework through which to understand the complex interactions of science, technology and the social world. In this concentration, students critically examine innovation and its organizational contexts. What constitutes innovation, and what conditions facilitate it What are its consequences for different social groups Topics covered include various kinds of innovation and creativity (e.g., scientific, technological, intellectual, design, artistic, political), organizational culture, management sciences, work and technology, product design, and economy and society.
