Human Development and Family Science B.S.

Explore cultural, economic and social factors that shape children and families and their relationships. Study how people learn and grow through their lifetime, from infancy to end of life, and how different factors can promote or hinder healthy human development. Take an interdisciplinary approach, borrowing theories and techniques from fields like psychology, sociology and education. Customize your education with related minors. For example, in child and family policy studies or mindfulness and contemplative studies. Gain valuable hands-on experience through capstone internship opportunities and research projects that address health and belonging, cross-cultural issues and child development.
