Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering - Bioelectrical Engineering

The objective of the Bioelectrical Engineering concentration is to prepare students for careers in the emerging areas of biomedical signal and image processing, assistive devices for the impaired, and bioelectronics. The Bioelectrical Engineering concentration utilizes courses in Biology, and Mammalian Anatomy and Physiology from the Department of Kinesiology at Temple University as part of the curriculum. Prepare for careers in the emerging fields of assistive device technology, bioelectronics and biomedical signal and image processing. Build a strong foundation through the study of anatomy, biology, control systems, digital signal processing, electromagnetics and physiology. The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is a 128-credit hour degree offered in Temple University’s College of Engineering and focuses on control systems, electromagnetics and electronics. Electrical engineers innovate and design the systems that help keep buildings, computers, factories, power grids and telecommunications productive and efficient. They also design electric motors, radar and navigation systems, robots, and all other electronic devices.
