Middle Eastern and North African Studies (MA) - Accelerated Master's Program

The M.A. program in Middle East and North African Studies offers a rigorous curriculum that encourages you to engage in a critical analysis of current ideas and methodologies in the field. In preparing graduates for fruitful careers in government, journalism, nongovernmental organizations, military, international business or advanced academic study, the program offers a well-rounded education. You will explore all aspects of the Middle East region, from studying gender and society to learning history, religion and politics - even the region's arts, culture and literature. Additionally, the program offers a full range of language courses in Arabic, Persian, Turkish and Hebrew.

GPA 3.0 on undergraduate or M.A. degree (cumulative GPA or last 60 semester units if your undergraduate GPA is lower than 3.0 cumulative; graduate GPA taken will be cumulative only)
